On 27th October 2017, a welcome gathering for scholars under ADB-Japan Scholarship Program was hosted by the Asian Development Bank (ADB) at the Asian Development Bank Institute in Kasumigaseki, Tokyo. New students enrolled at various partner institutions of ADB all over Japan participated in the welcome event. From Saitama University, a total of 12 members participated in the event including 9 first year masters student. During the event, both the ADB and the scholars introduced their institutions and each other. Ms. Shaika Sharkia (1st year student) represented the group to introduce each students by using the slide photos. All attendees enjoyed the gathering, which provided an opportunity to build new friendships.
