Research

Our faculty members are engaged in a wide range of research in the field of Civil and Environmental engineering. Major research topics include, but not limited to, geo-technology for disaster prevention, earthquake engineering and earthquake disaster mitigation engineering, structures and mechanics, concrete structures, strengthening and rehabilitation of civil infrastructures, planning and design of transportation infrastructures, environmental engineering, and ecological engineering. Prospective students interested in pursuing research in particular fields are encouraged to contact the respective faculty members beforehand to discuss the probable research topics prior to filing an application.
